Panorama Studios is a mixing and mastering facility based in Melbourne, Australia. Our philosophy is that with every project we are collaborating to work towards the same common goal: to help your sound reach its full potential. Here we offer a comfortable and welcoming studio environment, fine-tuned acoustically to facilitate the most transparent engagement with your project at the most critical stages in post-production. We always strive to approach your project with the same passion for your artistic vision as you have.
Mastering is a process that has evolved significantly over the past 50 years as playback mediums have fallen in and out of favour, most notably between the shift from analogue to the digital technologies of recorded music. Mastering has always involved the engineer creating a cohesive product fit and ready for production. Now more than ever with the democratisation of the record industry and music production through more ubiquitous and accessible technologies, people are creating music in a much wider variety of spaces even within the one album. Record production now occurs not only in recording studios, but also at home studios, project spaces and in bedrooms with different engineers, producers and technologies. Whilst individually each track has it’s own well-developed sonic character, the role of the mastering engineer is to view the project as a whole and create a cohesive product that retains the integrity of the original tracks.
In collaboration with Cartel PR & Management we've developed #NOTJUSTDISTRO to service the distribution phase of our clients records. Complete with assistance in APRA / AMCOS registration, uploading to all major stores, securing a release date AND last, but importantly pitching to stores for playlisting and artist features.
Over the past hundred years, audio recording has become the primary means by which music is disseminated and consumed. Mixing has become critical in how music is represented. In today's audio culture, it has become an extension of the creative process that can play as much a part in the production of a recording as the composition. We draw on years of musical experience when it comes to your project and through that we can balance both the technical precision of engineering with a creative ear and understanding of music.
It is through this understanding that we provide a mindset and approach to your recordings that endeavours to help you in the final stages of your artistic vision in collaboration with us. At Panorama Studios, you can feel at home in our well-equipped and comfortable space as we work with you on your project.

Nicholas Di Lorenzo
As an engineer in an industry climate that has become so technically focused, Nicholas regards the creative process of the artist as having the highest importance while still paying close attention to the technical detail required for the processes of mixing and mastering.
Nicholas started at The Aviary Recording Studios in Melbourne where he worked assisting in the recording and production for El Moth’s and Jungal’s albums under the guidance of Fraser Montgomery. Following this experience Nicholas assisted at Edensound Mixing & Mastering in East Melbourne. There, under the guidance and mentorship of Martin Pullan he worked and attended in the post-production of records by acts such as Deep Purple (re-mixing of live performances ‘72-’74), Jimmy Barnes (Tape Transfers), Julia Henning and Andrew Haggar. It was here where he developed as an engineer, honing his ears, technique and skill set for mastering and mixing.
Through-out his career he has gained extensive insight and experience into the record production process in professional atmospheres. He has since maintained his strong community presence in Melbourne as an in-demand engineer, relied upon by many local and international artists and labels working on records that have charted on the ARIA's, iTunes and Beatport charts and been broadcasted on national radio and television.
