Nicholas Di Lorenzo
As an engineer in an industry climate that has become so technically focused, Nicholas regards the creative process of the artist as having the highest importance while still paying close attention to the technical detail required for the processes of mixing and mastering.
Nicholas started at The Aviary Recording Studios in Melbourne where he worked assisting in the recording and production for El Moth’s and Jungal’s albums under the guidance of Fraser Montgomery. Following this experience Nicholas assisted at Edensound Mixing & Mastering in East Melbourne. There, under the guidance and mentorship of Martin Pullan he worked and attended in the post-production of records by acts such as Deep Purple (re-mixing of live performances ‘72-’74), Jimmy Barnes (Tape Transfers), Julia Henning and Andrew Haggar. It was here where he developed as an engineer, honing his ears, technique and skill set for mastering and mixing.
Through-out his career he has gained extensive insight and experience into the record production process in professional atmospheres. He has since maintained his strong community presence in Melbourne as an in-demand engineer, relied upon by many local and international artists and labels working on records that have charted on the ARIA's, iTunes and Beatport charts and been broadcasted on national radio and television.
